<\/a><\/p>\nWhile continuing to promote\u00a0Transformers 5 <\/em>\u00a0producer Lorenzo di revealed even more info about the upcoming\u00a0Bumblebee<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>spin-off and confirming that the production<\/a> starts in August, while also teasing that\u00a0Transformers 6 <\/em>will hit cinemas in 2018. Unfortunately, the producer wouldn’t say what\u00a0Transformers 6 <\/em>will be about yet, but the current<\/a> plan is to have it ready for a summer 2018 release. Here’s what the producer<\/a> had to say in a new interview.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n “Look, I always wait for the audience, because<\/a> there’s an arrogance to getting ahead of your audience. When you do, you get punched. So we’ll wait each time. We’re planning a lot of movies<\/a>, but you’ve got to have the audience’s support, because these movies are very expensive.”<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n The producer made these comments in an interview with\u00a0Screen Rant and although he wouldn’t shed any light on what the next\u00a0Transformers<\/em>\u00a0movie will be. This comes just a few days after the producer compared his\u00a0Bumblebee<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>spin-off\u00a0to the iconic animated classic\u00a0Iron Giant<\/em> and while confirming that the story is set in the 1980s. Back in April, Michael Bay revealed that Paramount has\u00a012 Transformers movies<\/a><\/strong><\/em>\u00a0that are currently in development, which spawned from the\u00a0Transformers<\/em>\u00a0<\/a>franchise writers room. With\u00a0Bumblebee<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>hitting theaters on June 7, 2018, or this mystery\u00a0Transformers<\/em>\u00a0movie supposedly arriving in the summer of 2019 and the producer was asked if the studio’s plan is to release a\u00a0Transformers<\/em>\u00a0movie every summer and perhaps mirroring Disney’s plans of releasing a new\u00a0Star Wars<\/em>\u00a0movie every year. However, Lorenzo di Bonaventura<\/a> revealed he did not want the franchise to get too far ahead of itself.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n “Well we’re going to shoot a prequel actually and a\u00a0Bumblebee<\/em>\u00a0movie, which starts in August and so next summer we’ll see a\u00a0Bumblebee<\/em>\u00a0movie.
